The company started in July 2004 under the name of Amira Pharmaceutical & Medical Trading.  Prior to going into business, the founder of the company had spent many years working in Saudi Arabia.  The word "Amira", which means princess in the Arabic language, was adopted by the founder because of his astonishment and bewilderment in the beauty of the Arabian princesses, who in spite of the extreme weather conditions, were able to maintain the suppleness, tone and color of their skin. This led to the founder, through the help of a Syrian chemist, to do an extensive research on the various natural botanical and herbs being utilized by these people in making their skin so natually white and beautiful. The ensuing result was the formulation and development of a special whitening cream which became so popular in the Saudi Peninsula and patronized by many medical practitioners in that region. 

Upon his returned to the Philippines, the founder adopted and applied the same technology to the formulation and preparation of beauty products of the highest quality. In order to achieve exceptional results, our products come from pure, safe and fine quality botanical ingredients, essential oils, and herbal extracts. The tireless effort of the founder to provide high quality products has led to the success of the Amira Magic Cream in the Philippines  as well as in neighboring Asian countries and in some parts of Europe and America.
